Site Plans / Construction Staking

We provide site plans for Residential House or Garage Construction which are often required for building permit applications.  Once your project is designed and ready for construction, contact ALTA Land Survey Company for site layout and staking.  We provide many staking services for numerous local, non-local, small and large scale Contractors.  We have extensive construction staking experience and capabilities for both small and large projects.  






Subdivisions / Plats

Alta Land Survey Company has worked with residential platting services since 1998. Extending from single-family use to multi-use dwellings and developments, you can rely on our attention to details and use of the latest technology to provide you with the professional results you need for your surveys.

Each community and parcel will have unique requirements and characteristics. Typical steps may include,
 

  • Verification of boundaries and definition of topography (the “lay of the land”)
  • Preparation and drafting of a conceptual plan and preliminary design
  • Development of a plat design in accordance with all customer and government requirements
  • Assist developer with subdivision process through preparation of all required drawings
  • After securing municipal approval, perform all required construction staking for grading, utility and building efforts.
  • Preparation and drafting of a conceptual plan and preliminary design


Subdivision plats are documents filed with the local clerk or recording office that outline subdivisions and draw out where each parcel was split from the property in order to create a subdivision. The plats show the boundary lines of each new lot created from subdividing the land.
